Took the head off my atc250r cause compression is low. Time for rings.

Only markings I see are 3408J on the top (intake side). My wiseco i have for my tecate is totally diff # scheme.

Did a bunch of searches and nothing comes up - any clue?

Thank You in advance.......

I can probably tell by pictures if you can get a few.

Somne pics - i am thinking stock but was expecting a HB5 or some kind of honda marks on it.

Also if it is overbore - would it have those marks as well - like .10 or .25 etc like others i have seen?

Thanks again....

Definitely a Wiseco, and its a Pro-Lite too. Scrape some more carbon off towards the middle circle and exhaust side, the overbore will be on it in that area. That part # is Wiseco's older style. I don't think its listed in the catalogs anymore but if you call them and give it to them they can cross reference with the newer ones.

Off topic but I think it is the first time I see a picture of a good 2 strokes piston on this forum. Everyday someone post pictures of some seized air fooler piston....

Thanks Billy - you were right - older wiseco and stamped at 66.50 - 20 over. Scrubbed with rubbing alchohol for a 1/2 hr and there it was... Ordered the rings and honing tool and should be all set.

Needless to say - it was running fat, which kept the cylinder clean even at 100-150 hrs on topend in one year.
