Harbor Freight tools sells a couple of different model of plastic welders. My neighbor (a QF) has one, and it works quite well. It was like $50.00

What year klt110. I have factory red rear plastics for the 85-86 klt 110. I even have the red toolbox cover and most of the grommets new and the rear mudflaps new, but not both the front mudflaps and a couple of the mudflap reinforcements and new red front fenders too. Maybe some other parts if you need them. I can get pictures if you want. The rear fenders have a couple scratches in them, but in great shape and not all torn up.

No do not zip tie or use wire. Dirt will eventually seap into the crack and turn it black. Like scooterroo said use a soldier gun and a heat gun. This works in 2 ways. First you use the solder gun to melt the broken edges together the use the heat gun to fill in the groove the soldier gun made. But you need to make a a "welding rod" out of a thin piece of fender plastic. Like under the seat where no one looks. :) And use that while heating this and the fender up almost the same. And swirling it around just like brazing.
Good luck

Pretty much. There is a little difference. Plastic you want smooth. Welds just have to be strong. Make sure to fill in the low spots. Also the heat gun can be used with excelent results to brighten up faded fenders.
