What extras were available for the big red to use with the accessory terminal near the headlight. If anyone has used it for any extras could you post some pics please.

I don't think there were any 'Honda' accessories listed in the brochure, I'm sure someone will prove me wrong!
I use mine to run the Gps.

What I should have added is that the Oem socket is 'key live', ie dead when you switch off. I've added a permanently live socket to mine as well. Very usefull if the battery is flat as you can use it to charge the battery without having to dismantle half the machine!

I added a weatehrproof 12V socket to mine so I can use whatever I want, and easier to use too.

The pic is with a camara phone, color sucks.

Yeah, that was a good idea Honda had that never really took off. Why they used such an odd plug is beyond me. I've never seen anything that plugged into it directly.

The only thing Ive ever seen that plugged into that socket was the Hondaline Spotlight, but other then that I dont know of anything that used it.

Where'd you find that weatherproof 12v accessory plug? I was going to add one to mine but only could find a replacement style for a cig lighter.

I think you can get them at any auto parts store. I put a few on ATVs before.

Yeah, I got it at Wal-Mart. Comes in handy for charging cell phones around camp and using a GPS.

I have a compressor mounted on mine. I kept the original honda plug and made an attatchable plug that goes into a dual cigarette lighter. Use it for spotlighting and running the compressor.
