maybe the motor is in need of a new ring job ? im not huge into yammie but i know when my trike did that same thing and my plug was good it ended up being my rings. not saying that what it is im just throwing my 2 cents out there.
did you do a compression test ??
im not sure abou the ring thing because the kid i bought it from said the redid the top end so waether or not he did or not i dont know but i will do a compresson test

let us know how it comes out. im not doubting the kid's capabilities of rebuilding the motor. im just troubleshooting.

If you get a manual, it will be alot easier to diagnose.

yes and no. i use to use a manual but ive pretty much deemed them useless for many real life applications . i mean they are great for specs but when it comes to troubleshooting they arnt all that great. half the problems ive ever had and fallowed what that book said to do didnt help the situation one bit. so i started with the cheapest and easiest spots and worked up. like checking the plug, checking the gap on the plug, doing a compression test, and so on.
