I always said that I was all done buying trikes...UNLESS...I found an 86 or 87 tecate for the right price in a close proximity.

brrcuda called me and told me to check out an 86 tecate 6 miles from where I work. I checked it out and took it home today.

Its rough but its basically complete. Supposedely a fresh top and bottom end, but who knows. Runs good, but supposedely somethign was screwy with the powervalve. Im happy with it and Now I own the big 3 which I have always wanted to.

It needs work and some TLC, but over a few years itll be a nice runner. Now that I have 6 trikes, I really need to sell the 87 sx.

Hey I have a NOS front fender and 2 left side shrouds for the tecate if you need them. You can have them for 100$ shipped.....saves you some from getting from dealer.

ill take 600 for the sx...it needs a new needle and needle seat to run right, have them on order right now...and the tank leaks and i have a can of redkote for it, and have new brakes front and rear and new cables....

I paid 600 for it, i need space...

I bought the tecate for 1200, and it came with another frame, axle, swinger, tank, trips, brakes, complete bottom end, topend that needs a resleeve, new clutch discs, springs, fibers, seat, 2 spare sets of tires, dial a jet, plus some other *Edited**Edited**Edited**Edited* im too drunk to remember....

itll be nice to have the big 3 rippin it up...the funniest thing about this bike is that everything works, front and rear brakes, all that jazz, good to go...so as long as i take it apart before it freezes up, im all set.
