Rare Tecate front ends

There is a tecate on ebay with a rare headlight assembly. I have not seen it befor but would like to see a up close picture of it. I am trying to build a headlight for mine but do not want to use the stock one. I have seen an aftermarket one that "was" MIK6s with the mesh guard.

yeah they are aftermarket, but goo dluck finding one now a days. if you have a welder and can bend tubing, you could always fabricate one yourself, not all that hard to do.

That is what I plan on doing. But I want my own design. I have been thinking of mounting 2 headlight on the fork tubes to allow a # plate in the future without the loss of lights.

When I had my tecate, I had a radiator guard that put the headlight lower and it didn't use the 84 or 85 headlight, it used a 86/87 headlight. I don't have pictures of it.

I had that same gaurd on my 84.... its made by DG... heres some pictures

Mine was different, it had the headlight lower, and almost like a metal mesh suroundind the headlight, the headlight didn't stick out that far either. Wish I still had a picture of it. I found a pic, not a very good one.

Yeah I seen that one befor. Any other front ends avable for the tecates?
