250r piston question

was wondering how much a new piston is and if it is hard to change.
not positive if that is the problem, but i think so

Well, what is it doing? lose compression? what?

It all depends on what year and what the bore is on the cylinder. Judging from your sig, its the liquid cooled 250R. Piston and ring sets will be cheaper than my air fooler was. But remember, you need to also replace the bad gasket and head gasket, so its best to but a top end gasket set and just put all the gaskets on it.

In your sig, it says it already has a wiseco piston and since you are asking how hard it is to change, my guess is it was done before you got it.
