I have a 1985 200s, can anyone tell me how to adjust the timing chain? I know it has an adjusting nut on it but Im unsure how to do it. I remember reading somewhere how do adjust it while it is running but cant remember how. Also, the motor has a slight tick when running and Im thinking its the timing chain, any thoughts?

the slight ticking could be your valves. if the timing chain doesnt fix the problem I would pull the caps off of your head and check to see if the valves are within spec.

its very simple pull off the black boot on the base behind the cylinder and loosen the bigger nut a few turns while idling. wait about 10 seconds and tighten it you will hear it get quieter when you loosen the nut if the chain is loose
edit- dont loosen the top bolt only the nut(14mm wrench i think)

when I loosen the 14mm it makes more noise, when I tighten it it will quite up some but still has a slight jingle sound. The 14mm is all the way tight, I dont understand what purpose the top 10mm does.

When you install the timing chain on the cam sprocket you need to remove the 10 mm top bolt of the tensionner, insert a long punch in the hole of the bolt, press and tighten the big 14 mm nut. This way it give you alot of slack to install the timing chain over the sprocket. Once the timing is good reinstall the 10 mm bolt and loose the 14 mm nut to tighten the timing chain and you recheck the timing.
