Shipping rear fenders

I have the hardest time finding the right size box for rear fenders so to all that shipped some, where do you find your boxes at, I had to buy one at a self storage place for $14 and was wondering if you get them free some where?

I wrap them like crazy with shrink wrap..............

do you have a recyling center? try a flat screen tv box from like wal-marts displays

If i needed one i'd check with a local bicycle shop, you can stuff anything into those boxes and they generally give them away. Just cut some off here and there to make it fit tight...

Problem is that with a box, they call it "oversized" and then the price launches!

I wrapped up my 86' fenders with bubble wrap and taped them up real good-they seemed to hold up well during shipment. I would have boxed them up, though, if i could do it over. Factory fenders are hard to come by- boxing them would have been the best route, however. Try a packaging store or a local shipping warehouse- sometimes they get rid of large boxes that they rarely use. hope that helps:beer
