Swap your trike colors

Just discoverd this fun option to change colors on machines.

All these years and I never tried it.

I'd like to see other machines as well, I'm sure a lot of you know how to do it.

.....and yes, the black on R does look sort of like yours, i like how the rectangles got the outline of red around them/

The Black is my favorite for sure but I really like off colors also, like the 1st blue pic.

You can not only swap colors, but change the hue on them too.

My favaorite, well the flash red/orange and blue are a tie (both really flashy, SHAZAAMMM!) but the subdued orange (1st pic) isn't bad either. i'D LIKE TO HAVE ONE OF EACH!

The first pic is something like 'waves' or 'water', the last one was either solarize, or invert colors and deselecting R, G, or B, or a combination. I dont remmeber :lol:. I think I mightve just turned down red and green and solarized it?

Here you go Huffa, I was able to kinda duplicate the effect on a pic of my car. Its a little blurry but you get the idea.

First thing you do is solarize it, get it about as dark as the pic above it. Then turn the color you want it to be all the way up, or close to it. (I used red for the car)

*If it is a 'mixed' color (eg, orange) then choose the closest color (red if the color you want is orange) and turn it up, then go to 'hue' and adjust it close to the color you want.

Turn the colors you dont want on (blue and green for the car) down almost all the way, not all the way. This should look close to what the finished product will be, if not, play with the colors a bit until you get it close to the color you like.

Turn up the saturation a bit, and turn the lightness up a lot. Make sure its LIGHTNESS and NOT brightness. Lightness gives it the 'white' effect, instead of being all the one color. Play with the setting until you get the whiteness effect where you want. (I didnt use lightness on the car pic)

Then go to contrast/brightness and turn the contrast up some, to give it that 'storm' effect. If its still too dark now, then use the brightness to bring it to where you want.

Thats how I did it. :naughty: I used Nero Photosnap Essentials.

Are you sure your not mixed up, if anything pic one could be just a hair deeper and pic two I doubt they could make plastic any brighter then how I have it, if even that bright!

I would definitly go orange if I had a Tecate, you never see orange trikes and it looks so nice on that mahine.


Love the blue 350 X and some of those other pictures are AWSOME!!
