View Full Version : Hello, yt125 restoration complete, 350x

Hello, i'm new to the forum,
I am 15 yrs old and completed my first full 3-wheeler restoration. A yamaha tri moto 125 it is a 83 model.
I have one quick question, i own a honda atc 350x and when i was doin wheelies my chain came off, i was just woundering how to adjust/Tighten my chain?

:welcome: Adjusting the chain on the 350x is easy. First loosen the two allen bolts on the back of the carrier. then using a punch or screw driver and a hammer start turning the slotted thingie (rite behind the sprocket in the pic) back towards you. you'll see as its turning the chain will start to tighten. retighten those two allen bolts and your good to go.

neet little yami you got there.. but that has to be one rough ride with no seat or suspension. :D

Thanx for the help, ya just got the 350x a few weeks ago so still pretty new on it

ya my yt is pretty rough to ride but alot of fun:D

Try to get the correct spanner wrench for the carrier adjustment and only as a last resort start using a hammer and screwdriver, good lord!

hey thanx for the help u guys,

ya schools finally over,(its summer in alaska) ive had days i wished i could just stay home and ride though,

I also have 2 yamaha Blasters but there not trikes
