Tdc?

Ok i have a 200S engine tore down on my workbench. I have noticed that when the keyway on the crank for the magneto is at 12 o clock that the piston is at top dead center. Us this tdc on the intake or exhaust. I'm wondering as i have a new timing chain i have to install so i'd like to get the chain on the bottom sprocket before the top. That said, with the keyway on the crank at 12 o clock and the little circle on the upper timing at 12 also, will it run or will i be 180 degrees off? I have a manual but it only shows how to do it with the marks on the side of the magneto itself.

It might run but you could very easily be off a tooth or two, just be sure to check it and adjust the chain a few teeth if needed once you put the magneto back on.
