Where can I find the special tool that I need to pull off the rotor on my 82/83 200 motor so I can replace my timing chain.

I've called my local honda shop with no luck and trying to find the correct tool online just adds to the confusion of which tool is the right one for the job.

Thanks for the help in advance all.

Thanks for the info DeePa, I wasn't sure which one to get and like I said the Honda shop here was clueless, then again the old guy that I usually talk to about 3 Wheelers, that works there, is on a 1 month vacation (Semi Retired).

Once again Thanks! I'm ording it now..

I don't lnow about your Honda, but Honda has 2 pullers that I've used.

One is that one Deepa showed you and it's used on 250R's etc etc, could be yours too.

The other is merely a metric bolt that threads in the flywheel and pushes on the crank. I have a Toyota truck suspension bolt that I use. I have sent people down to Toyota to get the same thing for 3 or 4$. It's just an odd metric pitched bolt.............

The metric bolt trick, is that on a 200x motor? My friend has a 200x that he had to pull off the rotor and he said the 200 is way different and couldn't help me.

But would that metric bolt trick work on my 86 350x? If so that's good to know and a cheap work around..:naughty:

Thanks again guys! :p

the metric bolt is ffor the 350x

your 200cc motor uses the 27x1.0 mm left hand threads, and threads into the flywheel. then you thread a right handed bolt into the puller and it pushes against the crank, removing the flywheel

make sure you take the flywheel nut off first. it sucks if you forget and mushroom out the crank trying to pull it.
