83 200x valve spec

My friend has 83 200x and needs to know the valve clearence on it.
He also can't get spark plugs for the local dealer, is their a spark plug that will work in it.
Are their any other specs that'll be good to know?

.003 on both intake + exhaust.
and should take a n.g.k. d8ea gapped at .024 - .028 in.
