The rear brake and axle set up on my 350X is definitely not put together correctly and missing parts. Also, I think my swing arm has been modified. So, can someone post some pictures of their 86' 350x rear end set up. The more detailed the pictures are, the better.
Thanks!
can ya post up some pics of your setup?

If possible
-The rear brake set up...like how everything is bolted up and where
-the bolts and stuff on the axle itself. Like the sprocket and brake hubs and how they go on.
-a view of the swing arm from all sides
Any pics would be very helpful. And if someone could tell me the order in which you put the bolts, sprocket hub, etc on the axle...that would be great too.
Thanks

Have you attempted getting the swinger bolt out yet? Good luck with that..
Here's a link that might help you figure out what you're missing.

You might get lucky, but chances are you won't, haha. When the bolts being stubborn, the best advice I've heard to get them out is heat(torch) and an impact wrench. The bearings inside usually bind up and it's damn near impossible sometimes to get them out. A lot of people end up cutting the swinger bolt to remove the swinger. On my 86 200x, I could not get the swinger bolt out. We actually started bending the frame we were putting so much pressure on it. Heat is the key I think.

Ok here's a couple pics (you'll have to excuse the mess its in a ton of pieces, but as far as assembly goes:
1 put the carrier in the swingarm and install the snap ring/brake bracket (86 bracket pictured) When the brake bracket is installed on the 86 you need the spacer/snap ring, or on an 85 the arm needs to be bolted to the swinger extension
2 slide in the axle from the left with the sprocket hub in place, or the right with the brake hub installed
3 install the opposite hub and ring on the axle
4 install the fade nut hub/assy and the ring on the right side of the axle
5 tighten the fade nut to the point you have no side to side play inside the carrier
6 tighen the chain and then finally the two allen bolts on the rear of the swinger to keep the carrier from moving.

What if i cover it in penetrating oil overnight and use an impact gun? And can i still get bolts for it?
