I am looking for some plastic to practice the art of "plastic Welding". I reviewed some of the great threads that have been done in the past on this topic, and it seems those that have had the best success have been able to use plastic of similar color to "melt" into the weld. I will be working on a 200X OEM rear fender that I cracked doing a beachball impersonation years ago. I would like to take pictures and maybe even some video to show what to do and what not to do and post for others, as I have seen some great "how to" threads at this site. I will post a request here first to see if anyone has some junk "passion red" plastic they would be willing to part with. I will pay shipping to 45807. I consider myself somewhat mechanically inclined, and would really like to use the plastic weld kit http://www.rockymountainatv.com/productDetail.do?navType=type&webTypeId=140&navTitle=Tools%2FShop&webCatId=22&prodFamilyId=3540 (http://www.rockymountainatv.com/productDetail.do?navType=type&webTypeId=140&navTitle=Tools%2FShop&webCatId=22&prodFamilyId=3540) which user KRYTEN said he had good luck with, unless someone has a better suggestion (I do have a regular soldering iron..). Please PM me with any donations or suggestions.. Here are some pix of what I plan on fixing: (Some may call her a "Garage Queen", but she is more like a "princess", fun to ride. but I do so with the utmost of respect of her Royal Honda blood lines!!
