Obviously not straight through, but has anyone gotten thier bike through a normal size door, by twisting it etc, taking the wheels off/
I want to put mine in my basement but dont want to wrestle it if it will not work
Thanks in advance

I would take the rear fender off as well.

If it's going to be there a while, take the rear axle out, and it'll slide down there like snot.

It is patio door day at my house and I want a french door, ya know the double opening doors.
Wife and I have looked at many doors in the last month or so and got our old one ready to pop out last night.
She has said many reasons NOT to get the french door, more expensive and a whole lot of other b.s. but the main reason is so she don't have a project trike being re-assembled where that useless table sets.
Sure wish I had a full size basement under this ole farm house instead of a Michigan small basement. Then I could put a bill-co (sp?) in and be done with it.
Ya know, she just don't understand.

John...

You just need to find a French Door and get it at a steal of a price and let her know you couldn't pass the deal up! :naughty:

it'll go if you turn it on its side and drag the rear end in first, then upright it and pull it on in.

Drain the carb first, or you'll really piss her off!

the guy I got my 400ex from moved it in and out of his down stairs through a standard door without taking apart at all,it it widened out to full race width to... I never watched him do it but now he has a new suzuki race quad and does the same thing..,I believe he stood it on end and wrestles it through like that..so trike should be easy

I had mine up about 20 steps in the front door and out the sliding glass door onto the porch when i first bought the 350X. I did it without the rear wheels, plastics and its a lot easier going rear first. I stored them out there until we moved to this place which has a garage...

She went with me.

Why you taking it inside whyzee ??? Long term project work or what ?

Hmmmm.... you'll have to take the regular door back, and pick up a French Door after a Dive run with the van. :beer
