85 & 86 350x axles the same?

hi can i use an 86 axle in a 85 350x? and will a 85 bearing carrier fit in an 86 swingarm?
any help appreciated.

Yes - axles the same
Yes - 85 to 86 carrier swap
No - 86 to 85 carrier swap UNLESS you change the rear sprocket/sprocket bolts to the tapered 86 setup as well. If you change the rear sproclet and bolts, then a 86 to a 85 will work.
