Bought my first trike, new to the site. Thanks all!

Just wanted to thank everybody for the great info at 3WheeLer WoRLD. I've spent the last few days reading every archived thread relating to my 1982 KLT 200. Especially helpful was the thread I found about how to find the year of my trike. The seller stated that it was an 88, which I doubted from the get go. From the pics I guessed it was an 83, but according to the old thread the tenth digit was a c so that means it's an 82 right? Anyway I better get to work, have to go fix some pasture fence using my old honda fourtrax instead of my trike (not running just yet):eek:

Previous owner said it ran last fall all it needs is a battery. Well, tonight I drained the oil and the old gas and found out the oil filter and air filter are shot. So I'm going to get on ebay tonight and hopefully get a battery and both filters, also a fuel filter while I'm at it. If thats all it takes I'll be happy.:) By the way anybody have any experience putting a skid plate on the bottom? I'm thinkin I'm going to need one with the low clearance.

Thanks for the mag ads TravEX, I've gone back and read them a couple times now.
I don't think I can wait for the parts, I want to ride it now!!!
