Scooped this baby up the other day...Bought it from the original owner who raced it mx back in the day and stored it in his garage ever since. Probably the most unique thing about it is it has a brand new nos tank on it! Other stuf: Klemm pipe/porting, 40mm Flatslide Mikuni, Durablue axle, +3 Calfab, steering stabilizer, ufo airbox cover. He removed the headlight back when it was new and put it back on for the sale.

Imagine what that tank would bring!!

All its lacking is race rubber and a numberplate IMO. :beer :)

...but seriously, box that sucker up and send it here.

That's gotta be the nicest one i've ever seen plus the best part is it was ridden. Anyone can buy something and never use it but its hard to find a clean original vehicle thats in such nice shape. Great find, even if i found one like that i wouldn't be able to afford it, TC...

I think about that tank alot. I've never seen a new tecate tank..haven't decided yet but I might take this one off and put a semi-nice one on.

Here is a pic of the grooved Hoosier rubber that was ran. The hubs are custom from Durablue to run the older 84-85 4 on 4 bolt pattern on the 86 axle.

Damn you just gotta love that front hoosier! I paid $250 for mine and it was grooved. Yours hasn't been molested so imagine what it would bring!!

Yeah a Hoosier front like that is very rare. I sold a set of those hubs to Sportvette here on the forums. Sure enough they are 4/100 but with the 86 spline pattern.

Sweet score Jason!! Here is an example of how you turn a bad thing (your leg) into good. :Bounce

I was looking on Craigslist and found this ad. I think he is referring to you.

I agree Mike, I guess a little bit of luck was on my side. Maybe sometimes things do happen for a reason?

I should have kept the all of the low profile fenders that I threw away years ago after they began to crack, I only have one set left in storage. I never liked them but they were cheaper than stock.

Craigslist is like a treasure hunt, no telling what you'll find and a lot of time craigslist sellers don't know what they have. Unlike ebay sellers who know what they have and what it's worth and then add 40% more to the price. Awesome find!!

Dammit!

I might have seen that thing even before you did. It was on the top of the list in one of my generic "atc" searches. Very nice score. Get healed up and bring it to the dunes next season. I wanna ride it.
