Are the forks and triple clamp for a 350x the same as a 250r? thanks

no. Steering stops in a different place, tapered bearings used, different rake. As for the forks, 350x has a leading axle, dual piston left side brake, softer valving. 83/84r has a trailing axle, single caliper right side brake, stiffer valving and 1" more travel. I believe they are spaced differenty apart, the hub is a different bolt pattern. Yes, the fork diameter between 83/84r and 85/86 350x are the same, top fork tube is the same, and brake rotor, thats where the similarity ends, They even use different front axles and maybe spacers.
