Well as many of you know I did get rid of my Z for the new R project. The machine is torn completely down and everything getting fixed, painted, or new parts. The motor is going tonight to have cases split and everything new inside from top to bottom. My plan is to have this finished before TF. I have attached some pics of the before and how it is now. The frame has been painted and the frame decals are on it now. The forks and tripples are getting picked up today to have the polishing done. All you R guys on the boards I may be looking for some help on this one.

Ok well I planned on doing this for TF but plans have since been changed due to gas prices. If I was to finish by then we would have to haul the inclosed trailer and none of us want to spend the money on fuel. I got the swinger done and hopefully tonight I will have it installed along with the tripples and forks. I would like to have it a roller by end of next week.

Prolly' a stupid question, but I will ask anyway.. Frame looks SWEET! Where do you get the Honda "Passion Red" paint, (for the frame) or do you just get a close match??

If you do a search on the boards you will find the paint code. I didnt use passion red. I went with a 2008 color that is a little brighter.

ok ok ok, you are right Gordon I have not been keeping up on the pics. To be honest there has not been much progress on the trike. I am trying to collect parts fot it. Just about all the parts are painted and polished just not assembled yet. I have a good friend who works in machine shop building me some foot pegs for it. I have a new carrier but I dont want to put it in until I get it rolling with the white swingarm to see if I like the look.(why iam looking for a used one) I do have a couple pics but not much has been done to it. As you will see I have not dont to much as far as putting together. Trying to collect all the parts I need before the reall assemble starts

Ye, looks good.
Now some questions:-
1/ When is it going to be finished?
2/ Which way are you going as far as bolts/nuts ect, reconditioned Oem, new OEM, Aftermarket?
3/ What's this about machining footpegs:wondering , sound trick to me, stainless?
4/ What about the engine, is it sitting all nice and re painted, have you tweeked the cylinder:twisted: , or have you left it stock:wondering
5/ What about the tires OEM or Aftermarket.
6/ Can i post pics of my 86 build in here, or do you think i should start another thread sort of in competion with your build???  :D
Hehehheh,,,,,i knew i'd get you back for the questions and pressure you put me under on the 450;)

put it on here. Now I dont have,,, whats that called....O yeah the bottom less pocket book hahaha. I am saving my $$$ for the power valved top end from esr. The pegs are going to be stainless yes. The I was going to buy the bolts from the fastnerguy off of ebay. I have not totaly made up my mind on that though. Tires are after market but the rims are oem. Finish date is not for a while. I want this to be a sweet ride when its done. The X is for riding the R is going to be for looking at. Yes put your R build on here, maybe that will kick me in the arse to get going on mine.
