So, I take it for a ride after 1 month of sitting and find its spitting and sputtering at any throttle. I didnt screw with anything, but it ran great prior to storage. I clean the carb and install some new jets(stock). It still ran like crap. I have the mixture screw out 2 full turns, and plug is NGK at .25. Its a brown color but looks lean for some reason. Ill pick up a new plug tomarrow and try that, but if it still runs like crap, I dont know what else to try short of adjusting the valves. Any ideas what to try other than the plug? TIA~
i hope its not that gay ass addative they are putting in the fuel

I'd say the spark plug but could it be a clogged petcock or cap vent?

If it just sat then nothing really changed besides the fuel. If it sat, I'd take out the petcock, throw in a fuel filter and make certain that the carb is spot on. A mouse didn't make a nest in the A/B did he??

Sounds like old gas, or a clogged petcock.

Can gas go bad after sitting just a month? Time to run the tank dry before storage then... Maybe these motors are that picky. Anywho, Ill do everything suggested and see how she runs afterwords. Nah, it airbox looks fine DC. Ive even tried running with w/o the air filter(UNI) and it still ran choppy. It seemed to be a little worse actually. Thanks!

Ok, I got a new NGK and tried it. No change. After some riding and stalling and kicking 'till my leg hurt, the plug still looks lean. I cant get a pic since my camera wont focus, but I think it looks lean. Petcock is fine and flowing fuel fine. I checked to see that the float wasnt sicking starving it of fuel. It is operating just fine. I idled the motor and sprayed the intake area with WD40. There wasnt any revving indicating an air leak. I dont know what else to try here. Any other ideas? TIA~
**edit**
The cap vent was fine. Should I try going up or down on the needle? If so, should I raise it or lower it? (I dont know which is which)
