Are there any local hardware store chains that carry glass bead in sacks? I can order it from McMaster or MSC either one but the shippin is gonna kill me.

I'm not sure if you have one down there but I know up here Tractor Supply Co. sells it.

I get my abrasives from TSC. I get coal slag though. Look in the phone book under blasting or abrasives, they might have some suppliers if your area. I know harbor freight carries glass. I don't think the TSCs around me carry glass though....Now that I think about it I know some one who has 2 boxes of glass they want to get rid of cheap, if you come down this way any time soon let me know I will get a hold of her. You could pry get the both boxes for 10. I know she has a barrel of plastic media I might get for striping PC & I think she only wanted $30 for that.

Well I talked to TSC this morning, they had one 50lb container of the glass bead which isn't enough for what I'm gonna be doing. They were $39.

Harbor freight in Valdosta, had 11 25lb containers at $19.99 a piece. Which is probably where I'm gonna end up getting it from. I appreciate the offer Gabe but I probably wont be down your way any time soon...BUT if that does change I'll shoot ya a PM and let ya know.

also ...... them WHITE Lines on the HighWay's "GLOW" up because of Glass Bead's ... question is ... Any Road's being re-done in the area ?

harbor fright also has alum oxide
