Inside a stock TRI Z Pipe

here is what a stock tri z pipe looks like on the inside... wrapped screen around the inside .. why do they feel so heavy?.. well 20 years of carbon build up..look how restricted the inside can get.. :eek: I was hopeing to remove the guts.. but guess not :wondering

Raffa thanks for donating to the cause :) Why the screen? Maybe next time you talk to the Mad Scientist Rich Daly he can shed some light on why they do that.

The screen proly acted like a noise damper to pass noise regs. Then it fills with carbon and there's very little noise coming through the pipe. I always love a new thin aftermarket pipe. They sound soooo good. Ting Ting Ta Ting------------------
