I got an 84 200s today after work heres some pictures it's in very good condition and runs and drives perfectly, everything is original except for an aftermarket header. Amazingly everything is there and plastics only have minor scratches no cracks and there not saggy it also still has the tool kit under the seat.

I just got my '85 200s fixed up and running. Is that a cobra exhaust?

It's a superflow exhaust and it's not loud at all.

was the original exhaust located in the middle of the back end of the bike or at the right side?

Man, that's a nice bike. I've been looking for a 200s or 200E. I have a TRI-Z and a 250R. I want a 200 to use for playing in the mud.

He found it on craigslist. I went with him to pick it up. The guy he got it from said that he only rode it a couple of hours in the four years that he owned it and he got it from a farmers yard sale and that it had been sitting in a barn for years. The guy also said that his brother in-law owned a motorcycle repair shop and that after he bought it he had this guy go through it and fix anything that needed fixing. It was a truly good find. We are going riding later and I'll get some vids of him riding it.

The ride went well. The s has an intermittent miss at cruising speed at about mid throttle. I think that the carb needs to be cleaned . Sorry there are so few pics etc but I was to busy riding.

Love the Chevy! 63?
My 200S always have a slight miss every now and then just cruising around, never got it smoothed out. If it starts and runs fine, I wouldn't worry about it.

1upfront and I went riding again today. The s actually seemed to run a little better. We went on some really gnarly trails today and on a really steep hill I managed to flip the s over backwards and broke the front brake lever off. I somehow saved it from rolling back down the hill though. I'm still not sure how I did it. That brake lever had already been replaced once. I also found a bunch of wild mushrooms. Good stuff! Great fun. Don't get the wrong idea about the mushrooms they aren't the funny ones they just look funny.
