Essay on atc's

I am writing an arguementation essay on why they shouldnt have stoped the production of atc's in 86.. anyone have any idea or essays they have seen that can give me a good idea?

who is anyone to tell us what we can and cant ride? if you hurt yourself on a atc YOU hurt YOURSELF the bike didnt do anything you didnt make it do. Allot of people have been hurt on atc's but allot of people have been hurt driving sports cars, but they dont get bothered with.

they had to ban the 3-wheelers, it would have been too hard to outlaw idiot production.

i have been riding 3-wheelers since i was 7... i have rolled my 4-wheeler many more times than i even came close to rolling my 3-wheeler and i ride in the woods on rutted out 4-wheeler trails with no problems

Who's writing this paper? Its gonna be all opinion one way or the other, regardless of your take on the situation. Some people dont think they are unsafe when responsible people ride them, and others think you die within 10 minutes of getting on one. Just make something up and why you feel that way.

I wouldn't jsut say they are banned because of idiots, the 4 wheeler popularity is a very good point as well, you dont want it to be a gov't regulation bash fest...

I AGREE... especially now a day's.... seems like ALL of the 2-strokes "3-4 wheeler's" along with the Banshee's are all ( pit bike's ) ... i have a friend thats a Lawyer that wrote up a letter back in the 80's ... i'll see if i can GIT it for you for some of the information that your looking for ...... good luck

haha i love that little quote. ya thats a big reason i think it was. and im writing the paper by the way... ya ive falling more towards people being irresponsible letting younger kids or even drunk people hop on these things like they arnt fast or harmless. Its all about the rider and what they want the bike to do. Good stuff so far haha keep them coming
