Are the petcocks for the ATC350x and 200x interchangable? With respect to the nut that threads onto the gas tank. I know the fuel line is different, that is what I want, to switch from 3/16" to 1/4" fuel line. This is to swap carbs on an '85 200x. Thanks alot.

any petcock should work as long as it has the rite size hose mount you want to use, they all have an on, off, and reserve setting, so they are all pretty much interchangeable.

I think the fitting on the tank ( not just the output line ) is different. I may be wrong though.

Can you put 1/4" petcock on '85 200x? I need a petcock with 1/4" fuel line.

If you can find a petcock with the right threads for the tank, but the woirng size fueline, you can get the line reducer at an auto parts or hardware store. Its a little straight through fitting with a different size nipple at each end that couples a larger hose to a smaller one.

How much more fuel flows through 1/4" line as compared to 3/16" fuel line? This new carb has 1/4" line, right now I'm using thread tape to make up the difference on the petcock outlet. I want a better setup.

Both are a heck of a lot larger than the orifice of the needle and seat going into the float bowl, so i dont think youd have to worry about the smaller line.

The thing to watch is the length of the tube that sticks up and the plastic in tank filter. I have compared 350X and 250sx petcocks, and they will both screw on to the tanks, but the lengths are different. That may mess with the reserve setting.

You said 250sx, I have a 200x, do you know if a 350x petcock would fit the 200x fuel tank? Thanks.
