Gazoo, those are stock forks on that 175. They are the same kind that I put on the 125.

Really? They look so much cooler & different then the Honda forks that aren't straight all the way up to the top triple. I guess I never looked at the 175 forks too closely...........

This one is for sale. It runs awesome and the front tire hates staying on the ground. I need to look at the float (leaks out the overflow and eventually floods out) and the electric start switch doesn't work. I tested the starter - works. No strange noises and a real nice deep rumble from the exhaust. No cracks but the plastic is faded. Foot brake only and duct tape to cover seat rips. I've only riden it 3-4 times since I got it as a pair (other was a Red). Make an offer! If it doesn't sell here, I will most likely keep it with the soon to be 6 - 3 wheelers I have. My wife hates it! "looks like a junk yard!" she says. ha ha Let me know!

The front light is a simple working light from a tractor or something:D
It does have an ignitionkey, but I don´t know if the panel is Stock, but the key say Yamaha so I guess it´s the real deal!?!

If You´r wondering about the headlight on the Tri-Z, I can tell You that it´s from a Aprilia sr50ditech moped (lenses)!!

very nice collection! the yamaha 125 and 175 are simply known as YT125/175 in the us, though...I think the YTM prefix is on four strokes only (ytm200, ytm200e ytm225dx, etc)

1985 Yamaha 225DX. REAL rough when I got it. With lots of TLC...a real beauty.
