When I first start it for the day, it will start, but you need to have the choke on for it to run. If you let off the throttel at all it will stall, then I can't get it started back up for a while. When it finally does start, I can drive it only so far before it starts to backfire and pop, then if you let off the throttle, it will stall and won't start back up. Any suggestions :?: :?: :?:

Does it smoke?
What's the plug look like?
Have you cleaned the carb?

It doesn't smoke at all.

The plug looks, well, not black, but a tan - brown like color.

And I have not cleaned the carb but I have thought about it.
Help will be appreciated.
