I know many folks run a headlight on their 70's, I've seen many different mounts to hold the headlight. I'm wondering which year and model honda would have the best headlight to fit on the 70? Looking for a round stlye. And if anyone knows of a company that still makes an aftermarket mount for this application. Any help would be great, thank you.

Maybe a place to look or ask, maybe another web site with 3 wheeler knowledge?

maybe an atc90 light since its the closest atc to the 70 with a headlight.

Not too many atc70's came with a headlight. It only was a option on older models. As in the post above the ATC90 headlight would probably fit the best.

Howdy is correct, the headlight was an optional aftermarket kit. I think the kit had its own mounts. You should be able to make something out of a 90 headlight, but you would need a to rework your stator for lights, I think the hot ticket was a CT70 stator, but I could be wrong.

The 70 stator comes standard with lighting capability. There is a large square plug above the zip starter. One of the four prongs in this plug is the lighting wire. Get a 55 watt driving light, earth it out and with the motor running, touch the globe wire on each one till it lights up.

The first light I put on my sons 70 was from a ct70 round style, and I just made mounting brackets from some flat stock that I drilled and bent. Now it has a rectangle light from a 110 or a 125?? I had to cut the back of the ct70 light and riviot it to the other one so I could use the 6 volt 15 watt bulb.....
