ok so i have a bottom end from a xr 200 so i can make my 200x a six speed so im trying to decide of i want to get a cylinder from a 200x then get a wiseco 12:1 piston or get a cylinder from a xr because the highest compression piston i can find for the xr is 10:1 do they make a higher one? so if i can get a 12:1 for the xr 200 that would be the ideal set up but i cant seem to find one

Is it pretty much a bolt in conversion?

The only difference between the XR and X cylinder is that the XR cylinder comes stock on the 2nd bore of the stock X cylinder. You can use XR pistons in the X cylinder as long as it is bored to the correct size.

that is right,
but i was told also that the cooling fins on the 200X are bigger then the XR200. and some people would put the 200x cylinder on a xr200 bike, because it would improve cooling. im not sure if this is correct, its just what i was told.

Yes, that is correct about the fins, sorry I forgot to mention that as well.
