I bought a 1985 200X that had been sitting in a garage for a while. The piston and rings were frozen. I cleaned out all of the old gas from the tank, rebuilt the carb and did a new top end on it but it will not start. Timing is right on,and have spark. But even with starting spray it still wont start. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

if it was sitting for some time it could have ben put away bc they could not get it started or u could have a bent valve

Maybe I'll have to take the carb off and check settings? make sure nothing is plugged ? It did fire up for about 30 sec. when I put it all back together, but died right away and hasn't fired since.

Someone told me to try to pull start it behind my truck. What do you think?

Adjust the valves to factory spec, get a Clymer manual if you dont have one yet. Clean the carb, make sure everything is adjusted properly. If the timing is right, it has a good solid blue spark, it should start if everything is right.
