here is wat the owner has wrriten
Here is what I believe to be is the best non-restored Honda trike in Australia.
It is a 1985 ATC350X. These were the largest cc performance production Honda ATC ever produced.
The trike features a very smooth and torquey counter-balanced four stroke engine of 350cc, forward kick starter with an automatic decompressor, 6 speed transmission and manual clutch. There is also an oil cooler and automatic cam chain tensioner. The dual headlights are 200 watt and are unmarked due to the factory Honda headlight guard which has been mounted since new.
In the suspension department there are 35mm Showa forks up front with 8 inches of wheel travel and at the rear is a fully adjustable shock with a total of 21 adjustments with 7.6 inches of wheel travel.
There are disc brakes front and rear with the front having a dual piston caliper.
The alloy rims are unmarked originals as are the factory Ohtsu tires with 90% tread.
All the original factory bash plates are in place as is the factory tool box and rear grab bar.
This ATC was imported from the U.S by me and was purchased from the original owner and was in storage for many years which explains the exceptional condition. It still rides, feels and smells like new.
If you have been looking for a trike that hasn't been dicked with (like most Aussie trikes have been) this is it. The only flaws are a few very light foot scuffs on the rear fender and a mark on the fuel tank down near the fuel tap. There are absolutely no cracks in any of the plastics.
The reserve is set at less than half the price of most new performance quads with the difference being this is a unique collectable ATV with equal performance on tap.

What a nice example for anywhere in the world, but BenB weren't you the one saying a while ago that parts and machines in nice shape are very hard to come by in Australia? I would say its worth the money because it truley does look like the most original lowest hour 350x i've ever seen on ebay. Its in a league of its own at this point, just like any NOS parts whether its a 71 cuda grill or some atc plastics, it worth what someone is willing to pay.

It does look like it has been 'dicked' with a little, the parking brake lever/cable is gone, and a newer annodized mount and lever, and block off plate has been installed. Even if it wasn't functional i would have left it on there, not like its going to be ridden much anyway. So maybe there are a bunch of other little things that aren't 100% correct on it. I dont know enough about the perfect showroom stuff to pick apart, but i think that kind of thing will hurt the value slightly for the person that wants a 100% original example...

Fortunately there are still 250R's and 350X's like this out there for years to come...

Unfortunately, I still never have enough money to buy one
