Let us know the out come of it. There is a girl there that helps run the events. Her name is Allie from Ohio Mafia Riders. We would like to go down later this summer.
We will let you know when we go.

Well yellow creek raceway had lots of people show up but most of them where there for the demolition derby and mud bogs, there where only 6 quads racing and a few of them where utility's, anyway there was nobody for me to race so I made a few test runs 1 of them against a new ktm 450 another against a yfz450 and one more against a dude on a yfz450 that I've raced with at thunder valley but I lost against all of them because the track was super tacky, I just couldn't get it to launch without standing a sick wheelie and having to back off the throttle but when the tire came back down I was off like a rocket just too late to make a comeback, this thing has a massive power improvement over last season. All in all I would say thunder valley is a much better drag strip than yellow creek more racer turnout and a little looser track, I'll post up a couple vids tomorrow.

Gotta get a longer swinger if I plan on getting faster.

That kinda blows there was poor turn out,but the Rumble was going on,so many riders were at that.Maybe as the year progresses,it will get better at Yellow Creek.

We just got wind of a new place opening too,a little more Northeast in Ohio.We will try to keep you posted.

ahhh that sucks , maybe a gearing change is needed ...do they allow wheely bars there i nthat class ? do you think it would be a good track to get some times on a fast or slow track is it well groomed and ran professionaly ? ill bet there will be a lot of bruised egos this year at thunder valley lol

It's a nice track I just don't like the way they groomed it, it was like racing on clay and it hooked up WAY to good. It would be a great track to get some times at bet be prepared with the right tires because 4snow/pro wedge are no good under these conditions without a wheelie bar. As far as wheelie bars go I think they are allowed in the anything goes class. Heres those videos I promised.

Good stuff bro! I agree with Mosh looks to me like you need a bit longer of a swinger :) Maybe a +4 would do the trick since now you're putting some more power then before.. I'm currently running a +5 on mine and it's pretty good it'll jump up if there's traction but other then that it's really stable

Overall that beast sounds good!!

Sorry about the video quality from Yellowcreek. I could only film from trackside. The track was very sticky clay that looked like it would be perfect for a dirt oval for stock cars. They only allowed two practice passes. The shut down area was pretty short and a little on the rough side. Every pass that the faster machines made they had to brake hard to the point of locking the the brakes up. The printer for the timing system is broken and it didn't seem like they were concerned enough to fix it. It also seemed like they were more interested in the mud bogs than the dirt drags. I can't wait for Thunder Valley to start back up, it is by far a better track.:naughty:

Well that is just friggin great!

I am about sick of these ride spots getting closed down.

We will try to see about the Dragway 42 deal this summer. We spoke about it last time we rode with you.

Did they give you a reason for closing?

I called them a little while ago and they said that the turn out was very low last year and it cost them a lot of money to keep it opened. They said they couldn't afford to keep it opened any longer.:(

Well for the time being,Yellow Creek it is I guess.

There is a new place opening for drags.
I think it is farther north Torwards Youngstown.
I can try to dig you guys up some info if you want it.

Hopefully dragway 42 works out good, thunder valley said they closed because they where not making enough money because of low turn out but I'm going to call back later and see if they will sell their tree and timing system.
