I found a set of aftermarket forks and triple tree for the 185 and 200s today. i have never seen any before. they are not home made.

this is mot my set but here is a pic of the setup that i have. i have the clamps and the forks.

Don't know who made them but they are sweet. I bet they would bring good money on ebay. Sorry to change subject but will you be at Trikefest?

dread head has a 200 of some sort that has aftermarket forks on it similair to yours, you might pm him he may know.

no trikefest for me. it would be fun but way to far. they need to move it around some :)

The forks in that pic you have there 200x_basket, are off an old motorcycle. I have a set similar to those over at the shop somewhere.

i figured the forks would be. do you know anything about the triple clamps?

Never seen clamps like that before, but I remember someone on here a while back found a 185s with that fork setup, I think it was Vegas250RR? (sp?) Might try talking to him about his. I know he had a thread about it on here somewhere.

he has the same forks but my triples are aluminum.

There were so many makers of front ends for the 185s, it wasn't funny.
The 185s was the "new-hot" trike before the 250r hit the dirt and had quite a following parts wise for awhile. The 185s was also quite a bit cheaper then the 250r which helped with it's popularity at the time. Those forks are not recognizable to me from any one maker.
