Stiff steering on TriZ

Anyone have any ideas on how to make an 85 TriZ steer a little easier other than greasing the stem bearings. My 85 steers like a manual steering car compared to my 85 250r which is like a 70's Caddy. Is this due to the rake difference? I've ridden an 86 TriZ and it took alot less effort to steer it.

idk but mine was the same way, stears easy with the front end in the air, but harb as hell on the ground, im hoping the smaller tire wille help out a bit

I have the same problem, and have been serching for a complement tire but can´t find any smaller one in 12":wondering
Any ideas?
