That thing is awesome. Did they add on to the rear end of the frame to hold the pipe and the fenders? In the pics of the fram there is only a swinger.

How ironic. This is my exact next 3 wheeler build. I've been patiently watching for a wrecked KLR at the local cycle salvage. I will have one of these bikes soon! Street legal for sure.
I had thought about that along time ago, I also had a thread on it as well, dont know where it went but had it. I sold my KLR 650 3 years ago, and I can buy it back for $800 and almost did....hmmm....I might just go and buy it back if a sale I got pending goes through.
I can tell you this much about the KLR's they sit much the same way as a 85-86 250R with the tank above the seat unlike most other offroad bikes with the seat flat with the tank, so when made into a trike it would look very similar to a old 250R or tecate, also the gas tank STOCK is metal and holds 6 gallons of fuel! the shrouds are plastic. These bikes WILL run 120 stock form, I know mine would, and they respond awesomly to performance parts, I had a full cobra exhuast KN filter and dynojet kit installed, and it flat out ripped! they use a old design on many parts but what inst broke dont fix it right? I think this would be an easy build, and if my memory serves me correct the swinger is steel on this bike so its almost as simple as cutting a rewelding a carrier on the end! (dont hold me to it though) this really has gotten my gears rollin, also I think that build was done down in greece or somewhere like that.
