What do you guys think? I am going to pick it up tomorrow for 400 bucks. I found it on craigslist. Funny thing is I traded the guy a 200es a while back for a SKS. Real nice guy, he said he would hold it for me since we dealt with each other before. Bike runs great, no smoke or leaks. The seat has been recovered. The rear plastics do have some cracks. Don't care for the tank, but it will do. So what do you think?

Man, after my weekend with my first big red, I'd say pick it up, figuring it's like my buddies quad big red, which should have the same engine and whatnot, it held my fatass and all our friends through about 3 feet of mud, and got out, and hell, it's a honda :D, mine is an 84 200es, running on like 120 compression, and it still fires about instantly and carries me around :D.

I think so too. I was going to sell my SX, but since I am getting this I think I will keep it.

400, id say you did great. i always preferred the 1985 and up big reds over the others IMO.

I have never owned one of these. After this, I need to own a 250r and 350x and I will have had all honda trikes made. Never owned any other brand. Not because I am obsessed with Honda, but I never see any other makes.

Heh, well honda is a great trike line, though after seeing my dads 83 ALT125 floating in mud, I'd say that's the baddest thing I've seen lol, I'll have a video up of it too if anyone would wanna see :P.

As for the big red part, it's a great line, shame they did away with it? My 84 200 hauls an 1100 pound trailer with a trike, quad and scooter on it, probably close to a ton with it all mounted, and it doesn't even feel it. Though, you do have to lean forward a bit :D.

I will let you know if I don't get it. I am in Dickson county. It is 30 miles west of Nashville. It would be a haul for you. I use to live in Memphis when I was a kid. I see your close to it.
