Thats actually the problem with that stuff, you spray it on your cylinder and any overspray ruins the paint.....

I think Permatex makes a better gasket remover. But yep, sure does remove paint well!!

good home paint stripper would probably work great as well......feels like your skin is on fire if you get it on you.

zip stripe works well, even on that hard to get off brake caliper paint

easy off oven cleaner works alright and takes the gold off of anodized rims. I'd be careful if i used that gasket remover, i'd hate to destroy the gaskets that are still on the bike.

It works good on PC too. Not the cheapest but it's fast.

When I built the Wifes 300ex, the last owner spraypainted everything without removing anything. So I had to strip or glass bead it all. I did also find out that the rubber grommets and bushing came clean when run through the glass bead cabinet. That was easier then trying to scrap or strip the rubber stuff. Just some info.

You can also use aircraft stripper. Normally, you brush it on, but They also have it in a spray now, too, though I've never used the spray yet.. It works well. I stripped my CBR rims, and the tunnel on my SRV, and it worked nice.
