Does anyone know if theres any dirt track races in upstate New York? I have a 350x with a 452 big bore is there a class for that? I race other spots but dont know much about dirt track racing. I may be putting the engine in a 250x race chassis all set up... not sure yet wonder if a bored 350x could even keep up to the newer 450's :Bounce

I'm not sure where Tug Hill is but I have yet to find any sort of atv racing around (besides drags) that will allow 3 wheelers to enter. They used to do quad and bike flat tracks in Modena (near New Paltz) and I used to run my TRX there. The promoter didn't even like my 350x being in the trailer while I was at the track. I asked him if I could use it to run around the pits and he gave me a loud and clear NO!!

Yeah, I had heard of it before but it didn't come up in MSN Maps. I found it now, you're way out in western NY, you might have more luck out there.

The insurance thing sucks, and 99% of the time its the only reason that trikes are kept from going to places. Try and find a small independent league or series thats not real big. If you have any kart tracks around too, for the hell of it, try them also. If you find a series, the best thing to do is just show up. Its way harder for a promoter or track owner to turn someone away after your there. They might say no next times, but atleast you'd have the oppertunity to do it once.
