OK - here is the deal - 200X motor - Cobra Head pipe and muffler - XR200 Carb - all stock - mild cam - port & polish. It runs great on 1/2 choke. If I turn the choke off it won't rev past 1/2 throttle. On 1/2 choke it runs perfectly. I played with the needle height a little - no results. Do I need to go up or down on my main jet size?:wondering

If it runs good with the choke on then its starving for gas. First thing I always do to see if it helps is oil the filter, letting less air in. Sometimes it works, sometimes it dosent. You would need to go up in get sizes to get more fuel to the engine.

This is a bigger than stock carb. With the stock carb on it - you have to hold it a 1/2 to 3/4 throttle just to fire it up. This has helped with starting it - starts really easy and nice - just need to dial it in. This is the wife's 200X (not Auto-x)
