In your opinion, what is the best suspended trike made? Or what shock by itself would you consider using in a swap.
My money is on the 85/86 ATC250R.

about the only trike i havent owned is a 250r so from my experience i think my tecate was the best

I'd say the best would have to be on the 350x. Any suspension that can handle that heavy pig must be tough! :-)

well the 250r has 9.8 inches of travel and the 350x has 7.6 so....looks like the 250r i guess

The '85 and newer 250 R's.
For what it was made fore....250 Big Red gets a vote from me too!:D

On the rear, 85-86 pro-link hands down. As for the front, Kawasakis massive 41mm units gets the nod. 10 inches of ultra smooth, flex free travel, and a look that's simply awesome! 39 mm liquid R forks do work nice, as do my 86 tri-z's 39's. But, the second gen t-3's forks took it to the next level.

whyzee -- why did you pick the 85 R rear linkage over the 86? Just curious?
