i need a 86 250r wiring harness, will a trx harness work?

I have been having a hard time locating a 86 250r wiring harness but the TRX harnesses seem to be everywhere. will they swap out?

yep, you might need to use the trx cdi. Also the regulator is in a different place and connectors.

i do belive the conections on the stator are diffrent but not 100% shure. i will look on my trx tonight.

I always thought the main difference was up by the handlebar switches. Could be wrong.
The stator plug should be the same, since I've seen TRX stators swapped into ATC's.
I'm sure you could make it work.
I re-wired a headlight/kill switch from a 450R to make it work on my 250R using the stock 86 connector, so why not a TRX harness to an ATC?
