200x problem

I'm getting a 1985 200x that doesn't run it has good compression and spark but it still don't run the people were riding it when the head nuts backed off and it lost compression an didn't run they tightened it back down but it still don't run what do yo guys think the problem could be

cam chain might have skipped. that would be my only guess if it has compression and spark. also is it getting fuel to the cylinder ?

what are the timing specs on my 200x and how do I set it I tried shooting starting fluid straight into the cylinder and it still didn't start so know I want to try the timing so thanks for the help

If the head came loose then the gasket is most likly shot. If it didnt start with starting fluid then look into your wiring more. I dont think the timing jumped because the head can only move in one direction when loose, up. This would tighten the timing chain rather than loosen it.

I've checked the spark several times though so I know it definitely has spark
