I have asked this before but The answers were not definitive so here we go again.

I am installing a 250R swing arm on my 200 X and need a bearing carrier. I found a few on ebay but I don't want to bid until I am sure it will fit. I do have a clue. I had an extra 350 X carrier laying around and it will slide right into the swing arm and feels like it would work if it was a little longer. So can anyone tell me which year I have? Can any one post pictures that will show the differences?

The 85 R swingarm has a threaded bolt on the right side tube about 3 inches in front of the carrier hub. That is for the brake caliper strut rod.

The 86 swingarm, has a small pin with no threads right next to the carrier hub. They used a different caliper bracket on the 86,that used that pin as a bracket stop.

Here is the best pic I have of a 85 swingarm.
Notice the threaded stud were the brake stay attaches.

thanks!!!!

That is the one I have. I need a bearing carrier for it now. It appears that the 86-87 200x rear caliper will work. I need the carrier forst so I can put it all together.
