I believe it to be a answer hole shot pipe. But I am not 100% . I won't no the performane of this pipe until I finish this t3 project. I ran a DG last season and it worked out well. I will have to compare the 2 when the bike is complete. Theres also a pic of part of the rats nest I pulled out of it.:w00t: Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I am not sure, but I didn't think the Answer pipes were sectional pipes. I have an Answer on my Tri-Z, and it isn't a sectional.

Sorry I can't help identify it, but that's a pretty fat belly on that pipe! I'm real interested to hear how it compares to the DG when you get it together.

Looks like a Jimmy White Replica pipe to me because of the stamped steel section before the sectional pieces start.

Mass produced pipes are usually two halves that when put together have a protruding lip at the seams. The lip is excess steel that they simply heat and fuse without the need for extra filler. Its easy to spot versus the other welds on the sectional parts of your pipe where you can see the buttweld of each section.

Not saying Bassani ever mass produced anything like FMF does today but its still something they did with the JWR rep pipe.

Arrow pointing to the stamped steel join in the attached pic along with the buttwelded sections.

I've got a both a bassani and the pipe that T3 is showing in the pictures and they are not the same. the bassani doesnt have as many sections as the mystery pipe does. the pipe shapes are also completely different, the bassani being much larger and having an offset in the stinger to accomidate a straight silencer. spring mounts are also different. i'll see if I have a pic showing both pipes.

I will try to get some pics to be sure. I was going to put it on my next tecate build. It seems some what caked with carbon and feels kind of heavy.

I guess you still haven't gotten an answer on your pipe question Lopes.

That monster pipe looks like it would work great with a bigbore.
