well i couldnt get my pipe to seal on the old motor, and it made a oily mess of everything, i taked to mosh about it when i got my new motor from him, but i cant remember what he told me, i dont know if the stock jug to pipe gasket will work, and there 30 bucks from the dealer:crazy:
what are you guys doing to seal them up?
thanks guy

i used the 2 stock gasket pieces. that collar thing that goes inside the pipe and the gasket that goes between that collar and the cylinder.
got a tube or red rtv silicone and used enough to make sure it wouldnt leak.
if it does leak after it cures for a day, take it all off, and reapply the silicone over the existing hardened stuff.
also, using all 3 springs for pipe help hold it nice and square to the flange on the cylinder.
as always, honda has a much better deisgn

You need to check with a different dealer. I just ordered them on Wed. and picked up on Friday the 3 springs and and a bunch of other little parts from my local dealer. I used the part #'s from an 86 Tri z.

Your dealer is yankin your chain. I bought 3 OEMs right before I traded the yami away. Mine where all the same size tho. No wonder one of them was one big PITA to get on.

I also have this problem. Mine had a peice of rubber hose, clamped over the pipe in that area. I was wondering why... I also just have the two springs on, missing the longer one. I dont see how/why all 3 go to that one thing on the cylinder too...

one go to the cylinder and the two other on the cylinder nut, there suppose to have 2 little bracket under the cylinder base nut!

So is it one bracket thing under the cylinder nut, for one spring, or is it on both sides, and just one spring goes to the cylinder?.. I would like to see pics too.
