Why not use a steering stabilizer from a sport bike? I think a lot of them are adjustable.

The VW stabiler is what was used back in the day!!! I still have one on my 250X. Yes today there are more advanced stuff but back then you worked with what was available and that was to modify a VW Stabilzer to fit a Trike or Quad.

aslong as it travels far enough, it would work. if its too long, it doesnt matter, but too short will cause problems.

lol sometimes people are too caught up on something being the perfect thing, they overlook the fact that it doesnt always have to be "PERFECT" to get the results they desire.

That's Ram Company out in Cal that made it, it came on my R when I bought it and was made specifically for the 83/4 R, the other one is identical and a spare and very rare!

$75 and it's yours !:beer

If you need exact dimensions of everything, no problem.

Yea, not sure if you would have enough arc clearence or any clearence for that matter for the shock to sneak through that area ?

HEY!!!! What about adapting one that comes on the new 08 CRF 450's ? I think I have seen a few of them on ebay already. See it, on bottom trip.

You would have to weld mounts on the steering stem.
