how to fix dented gas tank?

I heard filling it with water and freezing it would work but i dont know. Also using air pressure to pop it out. But when you pop it out it will probably be weaker in that area and dent easier than before. Best bet is to paint it and use some kind of filler to fill the dent, depending on how big the dent is.
